How long do you think blackberry will even be in business for despite being bought by nokia? They aimed at the wrong arget, business people, when most people in the world arent interested in business phones. If they cam out with a more flashy phone, it would be good for them.

I can’t see them lasting very longer. They’re already on the decline and I doubt Nokia will be able to revive them, even if they tried their hardest.

Whenever blackberry comes in mind, other thing is business.

These phones are considered as business oriented.Normally people own this whenever they have a need in business purposes

No one buys it for personal use..

I`m not a business expert, but I remember that companies going down such as Nokia or Blackberry are usually purchased or helped through a partnership by giants, such as Microsoft in the case of Nokia

What I see as salvation for Blackerry would be the merge into Apple or a big Android player. Both sides are interested by Blackberry`s infrastructure, which could revive their business area

we have high hope with blackberry praying that some giants save them. but ho knows, maybe blackberry’s strategy is really like this. be an underdog until they figure out what department to revamp – marketing, r&d or sales?

My thoughts are that they’ll be bought out by another company. The Blackberry just isn’t used nearly as extensively as it used to be. Competition has cut into their market share too severely for them to really continue as a stand alone product in my opinion. My bet is on Microsoft buying them out, they tend to buy a lot of smaller product lines.

Microsoft could be an option, but I believe that Apple or Samsung are much into the purchasing budget than Microsoft, besides they long for that security features that makes Blackberry such a good business tool

Anyhow, it`s a subject to be followed Laugh
