According to this article, Blackberry is releasing a new phone designed by car maker Porche. It packs quite a bit of on board ram, battery life, and storage capacity. However, in all honesty, I don’t understand why Blackberry is focusing on the ‘business niche’ that they have left. I understand there’s a market there but it’s becoming so insignificant due to the fact that many people in business are using IPhones and Android devices now and it’s just not practical to keep focusing on such a small niche. I have to say a big ‘NO’ to this new Blackberry and I’m really questioning Blackberries future if this is the kind of technology they want to focus on.

Blackberry+Porsche sounds tempting, if you have the money to pay for the luxury product they promote
In my case, with that amount of money I can almost pay for a new car to use for domestic activities, so it`s likely to do something pragmatic for me, rather than buying a social standard
Similarly to you, I think Blackberry forced its comeback on business niche. If it`s released a model close to iPhone, but more affordable, it will be much more interesting than this extremely expensive unit

Yeah, I just feel that with a corporation like Blackberry, they’d have a marketing and executive team that had a better business plan in order to remain profitable and expand their market share. I think they seriously need to focus on bringing the good things that have happened in the consumer smart phone market into their business phones. They need to revive their brand before it’s so far gone that they can’t bring it back, it might already be to that point.

Following an unwise marketing strategy led to Nokia`s merging into Microsoft, it will be no surprise if Blackberry would face the same destiny
It`s sad to see it, but telecommunication market is a market as any other one: one rises, the other one might fall
