news is coming out from blackberry devs that the new blackberry device actually uses an upscale technique to ‘trick’ applications into thinking the device is running at a higher resolution than it actually is, the idea being the smaller resolution will still look great but the apps will also have the HD look about them.. sort of .. it’s very confusing actually.

Also while im on the point seems that BB also removed NFC from this device as well as the Gyroscope so it’s certainly geared towards the cheaper market
