4G is available in Italy, since in 4G in Vodafone`s and TIM`s networks

As I could notice, if you use Vodafone in urban areas such as the most visited cities, you will benefit of 50-60 Mbps speed download

Video calls are decent, as well as the browsing or chatting

4G is also available in Singapore. But just like any other cities, it is not a 100% coverage. You will still drop to 3G when the 4G is not available. Telcos are still retrofitting the boasters to increase the 4G coverage area. The smaller the cities the faster you get more 4G coverage.

It`s a matter of few months or maybe few weeks, until the providers in your area will expand the 4G coverage

Taking in account its popularity, I assure you they wouldn`t want to lose its profit

Once the infrastructure is done, your providers will probably start promoting 4G through customer-oriented promotions, such as a substantial discount offered to a smartphone able to function on 4G or family discounts, if everybody would like to enter the era of 4G

There is 4G LTE, HSPA and 3G in Ottawa Canada, provided by Rogers and Bell, Virgin Mobile etc. I personally use 3G Fido.

Sometimes old 3G is more reliable than the new version. For example, whenever I`m an area next to mountains or other special land, the 4G connection is limited, too weak to allow me browsing, so I turn to 3G to fulfil my activity

Naturally, the infrastructure is a subject to constant improvement and 4G is still in its debut phase in most of countries

When 4G was available in my country a few people thought of trying it, most people would stick with 3G, it took a while before it was a demand on 4G.

I noticed the same attitude, probably it`s because any new service is more expensive than the previous one

In my case, a subscription based on 4G cost 5-7 euro than a classical 3G, users tend to preserve the old one, untile the fresh service gets a little bit more affordable
