Vodafone Egypt lets you buy your favorite number just type the number or part of it and the website will let you know if it’s available.

The good thing about the Vodafone Egypt website and the other Egypt operators’ websites are in English and Arabic, unlike Morocco and Tunisia the websites are only in Arabic and French, which is difficult for non Arabic/French speakers to use them.

The same goes for Orange, although I don`t know for sure whether it entered on African or Asian market, but in Europe is quite popular
