Airtel is the best network in all over India. This is my personal experience. There were some places in bihar where vodafone network was zero and airtel network was full. Thus, Airtel is the best network provider and i have suggested this to many of my friends.

In my summer travels, I don`t spend more than one week in a location, probably this summer I would choose India. I am interested in the costs implied by both Vodafone and Airtel for prepay SIM cards. In Europe, Vodafone is quite affordable, I`m using it for three yearsSurprised

Hey if you are travelling abroad, you may want to unlock the international roaming by contacting the customer care. It usually takes a day or two but its important so that you are able to make calls.

Also last year i visited France and the customer care suggested me to take a post paid sim card. As international roaming packs could be added onto it.

Even Matrix Sim Card is a good option but it is a bit costly. however if your stay is going to be short maybe you should opt for it.
