With International Roaming service from Maroc Telecom in Morocco, you can make and receive calls when you are abroad just as if you were in Morocco. With Morocco Telecom you can use GSM 498 network operators. The comfort of International Roaming Service allows you to connect to a foreign network as soon as you leave Maroc Telecom network.
Automatically: Select the menu of your mobile automatic search mode.
Manually: Select the network of your choice from the list of available networks that you are offered by your mobile.
Remain reachable while traveling abroad: From Morocco
The caller directly dials your number. From abroad You call, dial:
The international access code of the country where it is located.

I’m using this while I’m outside of Morocco and I’m loving it, the only reason I wanted to keep my phone number abroad is because I use it to receive security codes for my several accounts online and if I can’t get a signal I won’t be able to login to one of my accounts, getting an international SIM card was my best choice.

I agree, now it’s easy to stay connected with your family and friends, or receive calls and SMS to wherever you are.
For more options, Inwi from Morocco is offering the same thing, to activate the Roaming service, contact the customer relations center at 220, after that you’ll receive a notification by telephone from your voicemail.
And that will be charged according to the tariff depending on the area.

For the operator Inwi: Data rate is 20Ko and it is divided by areas, 5 areas to be exact, each area have a specific fee.
For example the area 1 is for 6 countries (Belgium, Spain, France, Italy, Netherlands and Switzerland) the data rate for this area is 20Ko as the same for other areas, but the fee is 0.96 DH.
