The plan is extremely beneficial for those who travel frequently. The details of the plan are limited to the Indian Pre paid and post paid customers.

The new Vodafone international roaming plan makes life easy for international travelers. The plan is of about Rs. 1684 and gives you the following benefits. 

1. Local Outgoing Calls– Rs. 15/ min

2. International Calls– Rs. 30/ min

3. Incoming call– Rs. 30/min

4. Mobile internet– Rs. 0.30/min

5. Outgoing SMS– Rs. 15/SMS

 

Apart from this you get 30 minutes of free incoming.

It seems that Vodafone is willing to offer more to emerging markets such as India, while the traditional ones are left with minimal benefits

For example, in my country, Vodafone is active for at least 10 years, but if I want to call outside Europe (where the rate is the cheapest one, about 0.04 eurocents), it will cost me double, 0.08 eurocents per minute

On the other hand, is I want to use internet in roaming, in Europe 1MB will cost me 0.56 eurocents, while for more distant locations I may pay even 10EURO for 1MB, which isn`t wise, it will be cheaper to buy a local SIM card and use it

Regarding the international SMS, Vodafone created an extra option, including 15 SMS (extremely little, from my point of view) for 1.24 EURO
