Are there still anyone using dial-up to connect to the internet? With the technology today, I’m just wondering if there are still places who are left behind.

My parents in the countryside use it, because they don`t need that much internet traffic. They just check their emails once during a week and chat via Skype with my sister living in UK

Well, there are still dial-up internet in the Philippines I think. Although a lot has already have mobile phones that can access the web through it, I think there are people who can’t afford decent ISPs and use dial-up as a cheaper option.
