A recent study shows that more and more people have been converting to only have an active internet subscription, instead of having internet and cable or satellite service. A lot of people to be honest have been subscribing to Netflix, Amazon, and other movie / tv sources. Honestly, I have as well, I can’t see paying $60-100 for TV service every month when I could just pay for Netflix. Have you canceled your traditional TV service?

The following users say thank you to Cellnut for this useful post:

You can include me in that study, I don’t watch TV as I used to before,it’s kind of useless to pay for it, and I can’t give away internet.

I don`t have time to watch TV at home, because I`m always on the road, but I watch some shows and movies on my tablet, using the apps created by the major television in my country. Some of them are free, while for the movies channel I have to pay a symbolical cost of 2 euro

I didn`t cancel my traditional TV service, because it`s impossible. The provider linked it to my internet traffic on broadband, as well to the fixed telephony service. If I want to give up one, I should give up to the entire package

I canceled my traditional TV service since I had ADSL in my home. I can watch any interesting things on Internet instead of infront of my TV :)
