Google Fiber’s blog had a blog post today stating that they were implementing a Dial-up mode, of course this was an April Fool’s prank. However, I have to say that it was my favorite prank out of everything that I saw today. Dial-up is a type of internet service that many of us had to grow up with and we remember a lot of the times that it took hours to download a relatively small file that now takes merely seconds or minutes today. It was a very funny prank, yet reminiscent of past technology.
