So, I’m sure I’m not the only one out there that’s noticed that out of all of the brands, Apple doesn’t have a storage expansion on their I-devices. It’s common to find Android devices and other phone and tablet brands with sd/microsd card expansion. However, it’s like the concept is completely unknown in Apple products.
It’s not due to cost, an SD slot cost in the range of $0.05 or so when considering the volume of what Apple is purchasing. Of course, I know why they don’t have that option. Because if they didn’t have that option, you could just slot in a 32,64,128GB SD card and you don’t need to buy their higher storage models.
In any case, it’s just something that bothers me, the Apple platform is so closed. Furthermore, the fact that Apple milks their customer base to the furthest extent.
