I have a few friends that use it extensively and love to use it with family but I never quite got into using it much on my IPhone. Also many of those that I talk to still use a traditional land line, so they don’t have that ability. Are any of you a big Facetime user? How would you rate the feature?

I love the feature for calling my family. It allowed me to talk and look at their expression. You feel good when you are calling from oversea to your love ones.

Hey,

 

This is the first time I heard about face time on coming to this site. I quickly googled  and found its features on vedio chat to be very interesting.. How is it compared to google vedio chat? Interested to know more

I would rate it 4 out of 5. It is generally for the iPhone users and it is very easy for the children to use it due to its simplicity.

I don’t know anyone who facetime’s. 

Surely it’s a bit pointless as from what I gather the other person needs an apple device too? 

So a better option is a cross platform product……which we conveniently have a large popular one thats been around for years and most people use it….. Skype

 

…..Skype works on Windows Phones, Windows Computers, iPhones, Android phones etc, surely this renders facetime a bit pointless?
