The general fact about iPhone, no matter the number of the sequel, is that it looks greater than the previous one (at least this is what customers believe), while the cost never seem to get improved
From this point of view, I prefer the most expensive Android-based gadget, which certainly will be cheaper than iPhone and will deliver similar features

You can always try the iPhone 6 Plus. It has a 5.5″ screen. It also has optical image stabilization for the camera if that’s something you’re interested in. The longer battery life will come in handy too, assuming you want the larger screen for watching/making video and photos.
