Anyone use Facebook for business?

From what I understand, ever since Facebook monetized itself, businesses aren’t able to reach as many people as they used to…and they’re not happy about it.

I am not happy seeing ads on my Facebook page myself…but then since it’s a free service – better ads than having to pay money to use it. ;)

Yes, a lot of people use Facebook for their business, either it’s helpful or not.

I personally think it’s beneficial to the companies to use Facebook for business, at least as a way to network with their community, and customers.

Through Facebook Ads and Fans page you can advertise your business. Facebook offers a very customisable ads placement service, which is also very easy to use and cost effective.

Facebook Ads allows you to target people of specific age, geographic location, interests, etc, making your ads most useful and effective.

Yes, there are still many who use it in Asia. Google Plus is giving it a run for the money also.

Best Regards

I actually deactivated my facebook account 2 days ago. I think people still use it, but not as much or as frequent from before. Facebook no longer catches my interest and not as interactive as other plattforms (snapchat, twitter, instagram etc,) They need to work on the infrastructure of the website.Cry

I still use Facebook infact it is one of the fastest growing social media in Nigeria.

Well, I quite anticipate this trend. Since in Europe, North America and some Asian countries Facebook has made the rules of social networking, it was about time to expand on some new markets, similarly to other cosmopolitan brands

It would be nice to see whether on the local markets would appear small social networks or classical recipes as Twitter would be also imported

Yes, Even there are other many other social platforms, people are still using Facebook to continue their relationship with Friends. Also, to share their views in common platform

I appreciate in Facebook the opportunities for business, I can easily connect with my friendships on chat apps as Whatsapp

For the company I work for, the official page on Facebook creates more visibility than paying advertising on local media (I live in a medium size city) and it`s cheaper than any other promotion tool

The problem I have with Facebook is the problem I have with all platforms of that nature…they must have a handful of software engineers always working – who never ask the end-user what improvements they’d like to see.

So every few months, companies like Facebook roll out an “upgrade” – which is rarely an improvement on what they had before and quite often ruins it!

Yet because people still use the platform (not having any choice) these companies think they like the “upgrade” and keep doing it!
