Worst thing about them are data charges which is now very expansive for casual data which means once we finished our free data they charge $0.50/MB which used to be $1/10MB.
I use Vodafone in my country and the rates you displayed are similar to the local offer existing
I can understand that in Europe Vodafone preserves a certain level of taxes, related to the proximity of the states, but still New Zeeland is on a different level. I would expect Vodafone adopt Starbucks` attitude and to personalize according to local realities its offer

Well same here as in New Zealand we pay 15% GST on any purchase and service so that price is inclusive of GST itself and New Zealand is small country so they charge higher to cover the cost.
