I found those 2 companies are doing very well in Philippines telecom service : ABS-CBNmobile, Bayan Telecommunications Inc.

I lived in the Philippines for over a year, and this was the network we used. It’s not perfect, but it’s probably the best of what there is.

When I was there (3 years ago), You could choose whether you wanted a contract, or a pay-as-you-go service.

The positive aspect about Globe, was that you could tell them what your budget is, and they would tell you what they can offer you within that price range-give or take.
