Smartphone Model: Iphone 4
Location: Newcastle, Australia
subject: Garden Flowers
Flash: No Flash
HDR: Off

I took this photo in my garden in the late afternoon, sun was very low in the sky and there was soft light. I tapped the screen to focus on the flower and blur the leaves gently in the background. My hand ended up in the way as it was a windy day and i had to hold the flower still!

Don`t worry about your hand captured in the picture, in this way you obtained a natural effect: it`s your care towards the flower itselfSmile

The auto focus function was worked not completely in that picture. I still realize some blur points of the main flower.

I have noticed the iPhone 4 camera is very precise but very easy to blur, Am i wrong to ay the HDR camera setting is just useless? I also have noticed that the iPhone seems to have a ver small limit on photo storage.

I am also not satisfied with the camera quality of the iPhone 4.  Images get blur very easily and the size of image is very large but the picture quality is not good. Flash is also not very powerful as its not able to capture clear images in dim light.

Nice picture KC design, although the flower in focus doesn’t look the sharpest to me, but as you say, if the sun was going down it is going to struggle picking up all the different shades

That’s a beautiful flower, but I’m really surprised that there was no flash and the HDR was off – it does look a little blurry, but the saturation is over-the-top. Flowers can be very bright; almost glowing in real life, but most of the time a photo makes my eyes practically hurt it’s because of the HD settings. :)

It’s a nice photo, but I can see why you’re a little disappointed.
