Some devices allow you to track the phone on GPS, have you ever used this procedure before? Most that I know, have used it to either track where their children are going or if their device was stolen. However, with almost all phones having a GPS in them these days, I begin to wonder if it can be a breach of privacy. Other people could track you down, same for government entities, etc.

In my case, I forgot my smartphone at home and I wasn`t very sure whether I really forgot it or I simply lost it on my way

I checked it through my tablet, using Find My Phone

No I haven’t. I don’t think I would need the tracking feature to be honest. I’m with my husband 24/7 and I don’t have kids yet. Although that would be an advantage if you have kids. There are special watches for kids that have the feature of tracking them. The parents just have to install an app in their phones for that.
