While charging your smart phone and tablet without a cord isn’t a brand new idea, it’s not the same as this report. It seems that this team is developing technology that will allow a wireless router, in say, your business, house, or anywhere you may be walking around could charge the battery in your device. The article states that it would be able to charge your device without interfering with normal internet use. I think it’s a pretty grand idea and may have some very practical applications, but I’m not sure how much I see it going beyond home and business use.  I mean, I don’t know if a coffee shop is going to foot the electricity bill for all of their customer’s devices if something like this became common place.

It could be an extremely comfortable solution, I would be one of the first users to adopt it, despite the initial price

But there is one issue that the report doesn`t mention: while charging, the internet connection will enter a sleeping mode, which will be a serious headache or the two fuction will function simultaneously?
