Both teaching and studying need smart phone functions. We nearly don’t need to buy any books and notebooks nowadays :))

agree! even students benefit alot with smartphone nowadays.  i have a college student sister and during seminars and trainings she maximise her unit as it serves as a mini tablet.  writes notes on it, record videos of the teaching and make presentations via downloadable apps.

Devices need to improve restrictions before they are complete viable in classroom replacements for paper, although that said again Australia and New Zealand both make use of laptops as study devices, which of course are locked down – when Android and iOS pick up their game in this aspect then things will be locked down better then they will be of more use but they are certainly way more useful than they used to be.

negative effect though is that student tends to be relax and lazy as they know everything can be available online. my 10 year old son nowadays neglects hardbound books and depends online in doing his homework.  reliable and handy yes, but it tends to promote not so nice traits for kids.
