Just a few tips and tricks for Samsung Galaxy S4 users
1. speed up home button pressing; open svoice -> goto settings -> turn off “open via the home key” option
2. better batter longevity; settings -> my device -> power saving mode. Using all 3 of the options will give you best battery, additinally turning off features will help too (sbeam, sview etc etc)
3. edit notification shortcuts; pull down the notify panel with two fingers to get to the shortcut editor and you can now drag and drop the quick settings accordingly
4. better picture taking; change photo size 13 megapixel (4:3 AR) and turn on anti shake, turning the flash off helps too
5. screen mirroring; get an 11 pin mhl adapter (has to be 11 pin not 5!) and plug into the USB port and mirror away, furthermore you can use DLNA to connect to other devices that support such as the PS#

I likely wont be covering the s5 in many forms at all, i dislike samsungs strategy and the device itself but anything that works on the s4 likely works on the s5 the only REAL addition would be magazine UX. Although my new favorite device the Z2 will be getting lots of attention

The Sony Xperia Z2 is as you may have guessed by the name a smart phone by Sony that also happens to be their 2014 flahship phone, despite one of the first released for 2014 the Xperia is just a b-e-a-utiful phone to look at and under the hood it’s a regular el diablo monsterous power, insane specs.. dream machine! .. and it works under water. so win
