My earphones seem to last for about 3-4 months but then they stop working. I am looking for some quality earphones that will last me a really long time. Does anyone have any recommendations? I am willing to spend a lot of money if they last a long time, but they must be comfortable and sound good.

That’s a really a good question, I wish I could help because I have the same problem as well, even the original earphone that comes with the cell phone for example, don’t last that long the same thing for the charger it will break at some point.

The good ear phones are Jay or Beat and they will generally last longer than those given by your phone makers. Ther are more durable and have better sound quality depending on the amount you pay for it.

I recently tried some Sony MDR EX series ear buds. I purchased them off Amazon and they fit very comfortably in my ears. The sound quality is pretty good and I think Sony made an overall good product for the price range. My only problem is that I couldn’t locate any warranty information and it doesn’t seem easy to find online. I wonder if there’s a warranty at all on Sony’s earbuds.

Sony is one of the most reliable option in this area, I would also recommend earphones designed by Panasonic or Philips, they resist to shocks (as gathering them from the floor or accidentally smashing them to the door) and the costs are quite affordable. A decent pair of Panasonic earphones starts from $25
