I started a new thread rather than putting this in the thread about Coupon Clipping because the app I’m thinking of isn’t actually coupons.
It’s called IBotta, and seems to be very popular. You buy things at a store like Walmart (here in the US), then take a photo of the receipt with your phone and send it to them. If items are for sale cheaper at other stores, you get a rebate.
Ibotta also seems to be aggressively targeting major brands – I see ads for them in grocery stores now, too!

A good app, take full advantage of it 
In my area, major stores are located in malls, so the mall has a similar app, you buy, take pics of the tickets and then upload them. Depending on the level of shopping, you get some discounts
