It might sound ironical, but we have to die someday, let it be due to smartphones
When trains were firstly implemented at the beginning of 1900s, some people believe the persons using them will descend as crazy, since their brains will be affected by the unknown speed. Now, you have TGVs and our brains are still in perfect shape
I presume the same scenario is available in the case of smartphones. Naturally, they have an impact on our health, but I think it`s exaggerated

Using a cell phone is likely to cause hazardous effects on the body, specifically the brain, if a conversation is carried on for too long a time. However, using the cell phone for short messages is not likely to be as detrimental, even if the cell phone was used since childhood. So, I believe that it all depends on the length of the conversation; this is where the problem lies. I am not sure whether it causes brain cancer though, but I believe it can affect the brain in a negative way.

Now a days cell phone usage is increasing day by day..
Every day, we’re swimming in a sea of electromagnetic radiation (EMR) produced by electrical appliances, power lines, wiring in buildings, and a slew of other technologies that are part of modern life. From the dishwasher and microwave oven in the kitchen and the clock radio next to your bed, to the cellular phone you hold to your ear—sometimes for hours each day—exposure to EMR is growing and becoming a serious health threat.

We’re around sources of cancer every single day, often without even realizing it. The risk of getting cancer from direct ear to phone contact from light use is probably negligible, the main issue would be the people that have their phone next to their head almost all day long. Personally I prefer the use of a headset with my phone, that way I don’t have to hold the phone at all.

I haven’t read or heard any case of cancer that originated from too much use of cellphones or the radiation from it. I think it shouldn’t be that much of a problem. There are different kinds of cancer which most often than not is caused by vices (alcohol, smoking, etc.) and with having faulty body cells. Also, radiation therapy is used to kill cancer cells eventhough it also kills the normal cells, making the patient’s immune system so weak.
