I don’t know how it is in other countries, but in the United States, it’s a growing issue that cell phone data isn’t private and isn’t held to the same personal liberties as other information in regards to law enforcement and government. It seems police in one part of the USA were able to pull nearly 13,000 location records of potential suspect whereabouts within a four month period of time, without a warrant to do so. Every where we go, to the store, families, friends, work, religious organization, etc, we’re tracked, our phones tell our life’s story on a map. It doesn’t make sense to me that the government can request this data without any legal reason to do so, further more, I don’t understand why cell phone carriers should hold onto this data for so long before erasing it.

I guess in Europe the tracking issue is something like saying Good Morning
You know there is a big chance to be tracked, but if you are a honest person, nothing can happen to you
Indeed, it`s illegal, since your personal freedom is somehow cancelled, but the state has its own reason to play the game of monitoring, for national causes
