It seems that wireless carriers in the EU are taking a large aim at Google. They want to block ads that Google serves to mobile devices that use it’s services until Google shares advertising revenue with them. Frankly, this seems very absurd to me and I don’t understand why the EU allows companies to do this. There’s no reason to me that Google’s ads should be blocked in such a manner by a service provider for no apparent reason besides wanting a portion of the advertising revenue. The service provider is already paid by the consumer subscribing to the internet service.
