With my 15 month odd experience , there have not been any major drawbacks with relation to coverage, it works well in the major cities, being in Colombo, local calls going up and down come into track very easily. But coverage is a bit low in the rural interiors and doesn’t get you connected when in rural locations. I believe in that sense Mobitel has full coverage and access. International calls with Etisalat has not been much of an issue. Clarity is good and no breaking of line in between. 

The customer care service is alright, nothing very great or bad. You can have your issues solved, but takes a while. The customer care agents are quite courteous though.
