I’m finally thinking of getting a smartphone… a prepaid one….recently available for TracPhone and Straight Talking.

I’ve found all the posts on here pretty informative about smartphones…so now I need to know…Straight Talking…they are Walmart’s brand, I think.

Any opinions?

Here’s the URL for StraightTalk wireless.

http://www.straighttalk.com/wp…..ortal/home

Their site is so “busy”…I don’t really care for it…

But it’s time I upgraded to a smartphone!

Glad to hear that you were tempted to buy a smartphone:)

Browsing the site of the provider you chose, I can recommend you Galaxy S4, although it`s more expensive, its camera is a wonder, video recording is perfect and you will be prompted with a lot of apps created by Samsung, in addition to Google Play

Huawei W1 has a bigger display than the Motorola promoted, yet being supported by Windows Phone, you will find difficult to find the suitable apps for your needs

Motorola Defy is a good smartphone, but I`m afraid the battery lifetime is over in 3days, as far as I remember

Hi, Costin

Thanks for your response!  I’ll do some research into the Galaxy SF – I like Samsung so this seems like the perfect choice….

I was kind of hoping Santa would bring me one of these for Christmas…no such luck.  In the new year will have to get it on my own!
