Awesome news for people living in, or looking to move to Colorado, USA in the near future. Quite a few companies are looking to offer gigabit services in the near future. Some of the major providers are Century Link, Comcast and Rise Broadband, besides Google which is already in some parts of Colorado.

I think this is great news to be honest, I love the fact that Google is shaking up providers and they’re starting to offer higher bandwidth rates and competing on a technology front instead of adhering to old standards.
