Which one do you prefer between android phones and blackberry.

I prefer using android due to its wide screen ,good for gaming and thousands of free apps to download.

What’s your experience with any of this smartphones.

I would also be interested in hearing people’s opinions.

The Android operating system is the most popular – I think Blackberry now only has about a 5% share.

There must be some reason for Android’s success!

The few people I know that still have Blackberry’s love them. But I would think it is just a matter of time before they are obsolete. Back in the day I wanted to try one but no way now.

Since I used both operating systems, I can tell that personally prefer Android, since it`s faster, more interactive and flexible

Naturally, Blackberry has its unmatched advantages, but regarded through a mass-market perspective, Android can satisfy a wider range of needs

Not to mention that Android and iOS migrated for a long time towards tablets, while Blackberry remained on its position

This is true.  You wonder if the executive at Blackberry who was so short-sized has been fired yet.  ;)

Good point!

Somebody has to think inside Blackberry how to improve things, not with despair, but with calm and cleverness. What I saw to Blackberry executives is a desperate need to stay alive. Naturally, it`s everything a company wishes in this area, but customers tend to perceive in a negative way this desire

The offer related to Blackberry units in the strategy of the provider I work for includes Q5 and Q10. Although there were repeated discounts, since January, we couldn’t sell not even half of our stocks, since most customers are interested in Android and iOS units

Hey Guys

I’m going to chime in here with my opinion. So my first “smart phone” was a Blackberry Curve. I thought it was awesome when I first got it. I could send and receive emails quickly and efficiently, check facebook, internet, etc.  Then I got an HTC with android. BIG difference. I can’t believe I ever called the BC a smart phone. Loading times were terrible and the navigation was slow and inefficient. The android works beautifully, and I don’t even have to mention that gaming is better.

The only advantage I see with the Blackberry is the efficiency in communication with emails. It was very smooth and convenient.

But I recommend the Smartphone.

Your story is similar to mine, the only difference is that after leaving Blackberry, I used for one year Xperia Ray and then turned to HTC One, which I currenty use, despite its dreadful battery lifetime

I feel someone should make an iPhone thread as well. Point blank, for work, BB. Also, does anyone have an update on government contracts with BB, are they changing? Because that would be very interesting!

Also, HTC One is great! I dont understand the terrible lifetime, iPhones are WAY worse and my BB wasn’t very good either. Try turning off your GPS.

Actually I really not like Blackberry phones. Android is ok with anyone who want to discover their phones with strange and new settings

I`m not very fond of Blackberry too, but sometimes is more stable than Android, at least in the case of applications dedicated to businesses as Business Cards, Stocks or Print my files. You usually don`t find similar reliable apps on Android or iOS
