According to this article, it looks like Jeff Bezos has mentioned that Amazon will be considering future Amazon Fire smart phone releases. The original launch of their smart phone turned out terrible, and they lost a large chunk of money. Do you think it’s worth them continuing to invest in this or should they just focus on their current offerings?

Although it`s a long time since the gadget was released, it didn`t arrive in my country, probably because there aren`t that much users interested in it. As a matter of fact there are local copies of Amazon and eBay more popular than the original ones, as consequence it doesn`t rely on the enthusiasm of a fanatic mass of potential customers
Anyhow, I would be interested to test it for curiosity

According to this article, the Amazon Fire was a total flop.
http://techcrunch.com/2015/01/…..ing-prime/
Amazon is selling these now for $189 with all sorts of features…but since they only work with T-Mobile or AT&T.
Amazon’s Fire Phone made news this week with the backstory of why the phone flopped, and Amazon’s plans to reorganize the hardware group, Lab126, responsible for the smartphone. Now the retailer is trying again to clear the shelves of this device, selling the Fire Phone today for $189, off contract, including a year of Amazon Prime (normally $99). This is not the first fire sale (sorry) for the beleaguered smartphone, either – in November 2014, Amazon began retailing the phones for $199 unlocked. And that followed the drop to $0.99 with a two-year agreement with AT&T, down from the $199 on-contract price.
Before the sales, an unlocked Fire Phone cost $449.00.
The 32 GB Fire Phone on sale now for $189 includes a 4.7-inch HD display, a 13 MP camera, 2.2 GHz quad-core processor, 2 GB of RAM, and a full year of Prime benefits, including free, unlimited photo storage. The phone, however, is GSM-only, meaning it works in the U.S. on AT&T and T-Mobile but not on CDMA networks like Verizon and Spirit.

Skeptical as I may be, I have to admit that Amazon Fire promises to be a reliable smartphone. Naturally, you don`t find a decent 13MP camera, 32GB storage and 4.7-inch display smartphone at this price
Probably, the Prime service is a must-have for customers generally using Amazon for selling and buying things. Personally, I would be interested only in downloading books
