Service manual

ezCom is a service that enables customers to connect to Internet via 3G service of VinaPhone. To use the service, customers are required to have SIMcard which has registered ezCom service of VinaPhone and supporting devices such as 3G USB, Laptop or iPad with SIM slot.

 

Register
– To register postpaid subscription: Customers come to transaction points of VinaPhone nationwide to sign subscription contract and select packages. Fee for registering postpaid package is 35,000 Vnd/subscriber.

– To register prepaid subscription: Customers can register by using any prepaid SIMCard of VinaPhone (including those which are operating two ways normally or those which activate the nornal subscription kit), write “DK EZ” to 888 to change to ezCom prepaid subscriber.

– After changing successfully:

+ The EZ0 package is declared by default for ezCom prepaid subscribers when customers subscribe the ezCom prepaid package, or change from normal prepaid subscription to ezCom subscription.

+ The SIMCard shall be locked with the calling/receiving direction, the subscriber can just access Internet and send/receive SMS.

+ After changing from normal SIM to ezCom SIM successfully, you will not able to change to any other packages (VinaXtra, VinaCard, Vina365…)

+ Customers can just reserve the main account when changing from VinaPhone prepaid package to ezCom package.

Benefits when using the service

– Lowest tariff: Only vnd 350/message (cross-network sending) or vnd 290/message (send to VinaPhone network). Fee of RingTunes: Vnd 9000/month. In addition, you can make calls in anywhere you are because VinaPhone has been always considered the network with largest coverage area in Vietnam.

– Longest usage period

– SMS services and diversified and attractive SMS value-added service

Note

– After using up value of the card or the usage period is expired, outgoing SMS communication shall be blocked; the subscriber shall continue receiving incoming calls and incoming SMS within 1 day. After this one day ends, two-way communication, both incoming calls and incoming SMS, shall be blocked.

– Within 3 months from the additional date for receiving calls and SMS, if credit is not topped up to the account, your subscription number shall be deleted from the system.

– To ensure continuous communication, please top up your account before it runs out of credit.

Use subjects:

– Students of Universities, Colleges, Intermediate Schools or Vocational Schools in Vietnam.

– Teenagers from 12 to 18 years of age who are living in Vietnam.

Features of TalkEZ kit:

– Default registration for RingTunes & MCA service (customers may cancel the service as they want to).

Name of the package:

– General name of package: TalkEZ

– Concrete name when applying for different subjects:

– Talk-Student: package for students

– Talk-Teen: package for Teenagers.

Usage period of TalkEZ package

– When coming to nation-wide shops of VinaPhone for registering new package, use subjects:

+ present documents proving that they are the rights subjects for the package: ID card and Student card for students (or paper for passing the entrance exam); ID card or pupil card or birth certificate for teenagers.

+ The number that subscriber uses to change to new package may be VinaPhone’s pre-paid number of a new registered number of a number given by VinaPhone (SIM giving procedure shall be specifically regulated by VinaPhone into batches).

– Information needed for registering the new package and regulation on using the package are applied with VinaPhone’s regulations. Qualified customers are allowed to register TalkEZ package for only 1 pre-paid subscription number of VinaPhone.

Usage period of TalkEZ package

– When coming to nation-wide shops of VinaPhone for registering new package, use subjects:

+ present documents proving that they are the rights subjects for the package: ID card and Student card for students (or paper for passing the entrance exam); ID card or pupil card or birth certificate for teenagers.

+ The number that subscriber uses to change to new package may be VinaPhone’s pre-paid number of a new registered number of a number given by VinaPhone (SIM giving procedure shall be specifically regulated by VinaPhone into batches).

– Information needed for registering the new package and regulation on using the package are applied with VinaPhone’s regulations. Qualified customers are allowed to register TalkEZ package for only 1 pre-paid subscription number of VinaPhone.

Usage period

– Usage period is 60 days since customer successfully registered/changed the package.

– Usage period will always be 60 days from the date subscribers making transactions: making calls/SMS (with charge), using data, topup (no difference for par value and topup form).

– Within 60 days, if subscriber does not make one of the above transactions then his number will be locked for one way.

– After 10 days, if customers do not top up then the subscription number shall be blocked on two-way basis.

– The term for two-way blockage is 30 days. After the term for two-way blockage, if customers do not top up then the subscription number shall be retrieved.

– Note: For subscribers who have usage period of over 92 days at 0h00 of 10/5/2012, then since 0h00 of 10/5/2012 the usage period will still be reserved and applied with the renewal policy as stated above until the usage period is < 60 days.
