With iOS 16, Apple introduced the ability to copy a subject from a photo background that could be a person or object. This feature is an enhancement to Visual Look Up capability for photos. You can use this feature in Safari.
- To use this feature in Safari, go to a webpage with an image.
- Long press on the image and select "Copy Subject" from the popover menu.
- Now, exit Safari and then launch an app that accepts images such as Messages, Mail, or Notes.
- On the app, long press on the input field and tap "Paste" in the popover menu to insert your copied object from Safari.
This feature works only in Safari, not in other third-party browsers like Chrome or Firefox.
