The Tele Columbus GmbH is a telecommunications company from Berlin and offers its customers analog and digital cable TV as well as Internet and telephony. Nationwide, the Internet provider serves about 2.1 million customers via its broadband cable. Since 1985 operates Tele Columbus its own cable network and is thus one of the oldest German cable providers. After Tele Columbus and ewt-net were bought by Orion Cable, the company ewt-net operates only under the name Tele Columbus. Tele Columbus GmbH remained completely intact and has since been engaged in rapid expansion and modernization of the networks.

In the large comparison test of Check24 reached the Tele Columbus GmbH the second place in the overall comparison with the best price and the third best contract conditions. The cable network operator offers higher speeds than many DSL providers and waives a relocation fee. The Tele Columbus customers also praise the high speeds and the very good price / performance ratio. However, relocations are often accompanied by longer waiting times and the promised services are not available. Due to the fee-based service hotline, which could not always help, and the often too technical answers of the employees, the provider reached only the sixth place in the service category.
