How to check is my android phone is virused?

From a time a go( approx. 3 moths ) I saw an battery draining and sometimes the temperature of my phone is high!Also when I use certain application like Tango or Google drive, I noticed that the phone's screen was freezing about 2 minutes to 5 minutes.My phone is an Motorola MotoG(First Generation), android.I'd better reset it...aka factory restore?

You probably need to install an antivirus, there are free trial versions, then do a full scan to check if it has been attacked by virus. I hope this helps.
