What is the best local mobile phone brand in the Philippines?

I heard there are 2 competing local brands that are very strong in the Philippines, MyPhone and Cherry Mobile. I plan to buy their most expensive one and check which clicks.

Which of these brands have good specs that can be compared to more expensive well-known brands? Any flagship units you can recommend? Thanks.

MyPhone's offerings are the Infinity and Iceberg for their top lines. I know Cherry Mobile has a phone called the Omega Infinity but I'm not sure if it's related at all. It's very difficult to search for phones on Cherry Mobile's website as it's very slow.

if you are to choose only between the 2, cherry mobile is more realible in terms of thier products and services.  The brand is known for cost-friendly smartphone as well.  Myphone is new in the market compared to the first one.

 

however, you can also consider O+ brand since they are quite aggressive in the market nowadays

I think it's O-Plus but if you want another good one I could recommend you the cherry mobile.

cherry mobile phones are promising, also cloudfone especially its excite prime. specs are good for an affordable price. it is one of the cheapest yet good specs.
