Well technically it connects itself when wifi network is saved. You dont need to connect it manually.
Or maybe network has changed the password so network is displaying saved and secured. Which means security key is changed. Try to connect with new key, it will connect.
But sometimes it does not connect so you need to reboot your modem/router. Or disconnect the network than again connect it.
