My iphone 6 keeps saying no service?

my iphone 6 was working up until a few days ago. my service plan is still in effect, next bill isnt due till 30th november.  but i'm  getting the no service error. i put a new sim, still no difference. is it an internal antenna issue, or a signal issue, or a software related issue

Update Your iPhone's Software and Carrier Settings. A lot of people's iPhones said No Service after Apple released iOS 8. ... If you can connect to Wi-Fi, you can check if a software update for your iPhone is available by going to Settings -> General -> Software Update.
