How to unsave a saved item in facebook smartphone app ?

To unsave a saved item in the Facebook smartphone app, follow these steps:

1. Open the Facebook App: Launch the Facebook app on your smartphone.

2. Navigate to Saved Items: Tap on the three horizontal lines (menu icon) at the bottom right corner of the screen to open the menu. Scroll down and tap on "Saved" to access your saved items.

3. View Saved Items: You will see a list of all the items you have saved, including links, posts, videos, etc.

4. Unsave an Item:

   • If it's a post: Tap on the post you want to unsave to open it.
   • If it's a link or video: Tap on the link or video you want to unsave to open it.

5. Unsave the Item: Once you're on the saved item's page, you'll find a "Saved" button (it looks like a bookmark). Tap on it to unsave the item. The button will change to "Save," indicating that the item has been unsaved.

6. Confirmation: A pop-up confirmation message might appear asking if you want to unsave the item.

As you can save posts like images and videos as saved items in facebook app in your smartphone. So you can also unsave them to remove it from your saved items collection. 

To do this, open the menu bar where you can go to saved tab as shown in below image.

Next you will see all your saved items in that page. Choose the item you want to unsave. Infront of that item there are three dots, click on it..

Multiple options can be seen there. As we need to unsave this item, click on "unsave".

Eventually, that item will be removed from your saved items collection. Remember you cannot get it back once you have unsaved it.
