ISRC is a short form of International Standard recording code. It is the standard code that identifies the song recordings and music video recordings. Each song has its code even different versions of a song like the cover, the live version has different ISRCs.
In case if two tracks have different titles and the artist uses the ISRC code the artist can contact the distributor or respective label to ensure have a unique code for your track. Once you update about the track the team will update the metadata and audio file, redeliver to Spotify, Apple Music, and other DSPs and assign the ISRC code.
