Is there any delay on satellite tv ?

Some sites offering me to watch horse race, but there is a 5 second delay, í'm planing to take a satellite tv, but í want to know, is there any delay there ?

There can be up to a 2.2 second delay with Satellite service versus the live transmission. The delay is due to the fact that the transmission has to arrive from the Satellite that's in Earth orbit. There's an additional delay in digital processing the feed for which can take up to 3 seconds. So yes, you will likely be seeing your content at least a few seconds later than the live broadcast.
