This problem has been reported quite often with a number of Samsung Galaxy android models, often associated with a rise in other minor bugs and malfunctions. It is, however, a minor software bug that can usually be addressed by using the “Factory data reset” option, under “Backup and Reset” in the system settings. This will erase everything on the system, so be sure to back up your stuff first.

Try restarting the device and if that does not help then there might be a contradiction between what the system is and what it is showing.

One of the biggest challenges in an Android phone is dealing with phone storage and memory issues.Does your phone memory go low when you try to install a new application? Do you get the error message “Phone Storage Space is getting low”? There are some techniques out on the Internet especially those involving moving apps from memory to the SD Card of your phone. But all these solutions require you to root aka jailbreak your phone using something like App2SD application.

Download any task killer app from play store and use it randomly to close all apps at once.Remember you remove all your apps to external storage or sd card so you have free inernal space.

It is possible that you have a problem with the system if it says that you araw low on space it's either that you really are low on space or the low on space message is possibly talking about something else.
