yes it's possible. I can tell u comfortably that i enjoy arabsat 5c channels (which include free jsc sports) on my motorised 1m, i am sure i could add other birds but the view of the west is completely blocked by high rise buildings. I hacked from Ghana also has proved that c band signals are active on a 90cm though he uses a specially designed cband holders(conical in shape) for offset dishes.
