My volume down button is not working on Nexus 4. What to do?

As i have mentioned in the title, my volume down button is not working suddenly. What to do to make it work again?

So it doesn't work all the time or just occasional instances? I think what you need to do is bring it to Nexus' service centre. It might be a faulty part of the phone.

Obviously if its a physical defect and its under warranty definately get it sent off for repair, I cant see it being a software fault or you would probably notice other issues too.

If its out of warranty period you could see if you can find someone capable of repairing it or have a look on youtube and see if its something you could repair yourself. Usually home repairs do require certain tools that can be purchased in kits from ebay.

Before going any where just try a hard reset once I hope it will make the problem solved.
