I have a Samsung Galaxy S5, and the trouble I'm having is, most of the space is taken up with various apps I have for freelance work and daily use, so I've moved apps to my SD card. Whenever I restart my phone, often those apps are unavailable for as much as 20 minutes. Lately I've had to restart a lot to try to fix the permissions settings, and it's annoying to not be able to check those apps for so long afterwards. Anyone else dealt with this or related issues from storing apps on their SD card instead of internally?

When it`s getting crowded on the internal memory, I store apps on the card, but not all apps can be transferred to your card, some preinstalled as Google Search will generate error

In the case of your error, you can try to replace the card with another model, to see wheter it`s the card the cause. If not, some of your apps are to blame

yes you can but not all there are some which you can transfer for this you should go to your apps section and select an app which is transferable and click on "move to SD card option"
