Do you think it is a good idea to have a panic button installed on your smartphone?

Should manufacturers add support on their phones for panic buttons. Would such a feature be beneficial for all types of users?

I certainly think that is a good idea to have this feature supported. Perhaps the power or the volume button could function as a panic / emergency button. Users could be connected in one push to emergency / help / support services and their location could be tracked, thus saving valuable time and effort in some critical situations (accidents, robberies, illness and so on).
