My Samsung Galaxy note got stuck on boot screen. Before it got totally stuck, it went off by itself 2 times(and I switched it on again). The third time, it just shows me the boot screen and nothing ever happens after that. I tried almost everything. Tried pressing the volume up(and down the next time)+Home+Power button. Nothing happens. I tried removing the battery and hitting the power button on a hard surface(got that trick from YouTube). Nothing happened. I gave my phone to a local shop. They say the phone is dead. Any suggestions? Any one? Is it really time I get a new phone? Please help!

How long have you had your phone?  Is it still under warranty?

All I can suggest is that if it is still under warranty, you talk to Samsung about replacing it for free!

It is best to go Samsung service centre to diagnose it. If it is too far from your home, then a second opinion at another hand phone shop may helps.

Best Regards

What I can tell you that not everything you see on Youtube is always  helpful. That thing with hitting the phone with something harsh is a nonsense, it does no good. If you had warranty, you probably lost it for this gesture
