what is irritating is that sometimes marketing and promotions lie about the product. for a cheap andriod phone they will say it is quadcore or 5megapixel cameral but in reality it is just dualcore and 2megapixel cam. that kind of advertisement is very unfair. so as an intelligent buyer, please check the unit properly.

Indeed, I noticed that unfair practice too. I wanted to buy a cheap Android smartphone for my father, who didn`t use a touch screen before and my order arrived home I noticed the model packed was in fact based on a 5MP camera, instead of 8MP requested and paid for. I returned and asked for a refund.

Sometimes you can avoid this situation, by getting informed on forums, but once in your life you will be tricked and the only way is to ask for refunding

happens to me and hubby. i sort of convinced him to buy a cheap local brand smartphone with promoted specs that it is quadcore and with 5 megapixel cam. turns out is is just dual core and with 2megapixel.  frustrating and i feel so guilty i pushed that mobile unit.
