Google have announced a new version of Android called Android Wear , as the name suggests this version of android will be more specific to wearable devices such as watches and fitness bands which have been booming of late.

Android wear is much lighter than traditional android for obvious reasons and has a great battery life again for obvious reasons .. exciting times ahead.
